This product is so disappointing, for two reasons. First, within an hour of using it, I somehow ended up with a crease right down the middle of the lid. I have no idea how this happened, although it must be from pushing the lid closed. This introduces the second issue - the lid does not completely close. I wanted a hands-free trash container that would close after I threw something away, but I have to either close it manually, or wedge my toe under the pedal to get the lid the close. This product is cheaply made and absolutely not worth the price.

Had to research for trash bins for our bathroom after our electronic can failed and rusted after a few months. Went with simple human for their contemporary style. Was amazed at how it looked and its durability. Better to use simplehuman bags but re-using plastic grocery bags doesn't pose any problem. Will update review in the future for any issues..For the meantime, I like it :)

We use this as a diaper trash can and it really locks in the smell. I like the small size because it means my husband has to take it out frequently enough that its not sitting in the room forever. Good looking, locks out the smell and love the removable pail.

WE just use the store small trash can bags, but the simplehuman sample ones do rock if you can afford it.
